Sabianet and the WOSB National Council

25-Jul-2011 Reston, VA – Sabianet, as a member of the National Association of Small Business Contractors (The NASBC) and the U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce (USWCC), has become a member and supporter of the Women-owned Small Business National Council. The WOSB National Council™ was established to increase the focus on women-owned small business federal contractors and provide a strong organization to support the growth of women-owned federal contracting opportunities. "While women may own around 28% of all firms in the United States, they garner a little over 4% of the Revenues," states Marilyn Ehrhardt, CEO and President of Sabianet Inc, "Even worse, the US Government only provides 3.4% of Federal contracting dollars to Women-owned small businesses (WOSB's). WOSB's provide solid skills while bringing new perspectives and innovation to the US Marketplace that improve the US economy and our competitiveness worldwide. Now is the time to eliminate the old barriers that prohibit the growth of women-owned small businesses." Sabianet will be represented at The WOSB National Council's first Summer Conference on 26-27 July, 2011 in Washington, D.C.
